An AI chatbot for SaaS sites, trained on your own docs

Your marketing site, documentation, and changelog already answer most of what a prospect wants to know. TeklTalk makes those answers reachable from a chat box, and links back to the page each one came from.

The problem

SaaS buyers ask the same questions in the same order: does it do X, does it integrate with Y, what happens to my data, how much is it once we grow. Every one of those is usually answered somewhere — in the docs, in a pricing FAQ, in a changelog entry from four months ago. The problem is that the answer is three clicks and a search box away, and a visitor evaluating four products does not spend three clicks on any of them.

The same thing happens after signup. A trial user hits a configuration step they don't understand, and the fastest route to an answer is a support ticket you will answer with a link to your own documentation. That reply costs a human twenty minutes and the user a day.

What visitors actually ask

  • Do you have an API?
  • Can I export my data if we cancel?
  • How do I connect my own domain?
  • What's the difference between the Team and Business plans?
  • Is there a self-hosted option?
  • How do I invite someone as a read-only user?

Docs and marketing pages, one index

Point TeklTalk at your sitemap and it indexes both — the docs subdomain and the marketing site, if both are listed. A prospect asking a pricing question and a trial user asking a configuration question are talking to the same bot, reading the same content you already maintain.

Documentation sites are frequently client-rendered, which is where most crawlers give up and store an empty shell. TeklTalk checks: when a page returns too little text to be real, it re-fetches it in a headless browser and indexes what a visitor would actually see.

Answers you can audit

Every answer carries the pages it was drawn from, as links. That matters more for software than for most categories, because the follow-up question is always "where does it say that" — and a prospect who can click through to your own docs is a prospect who trusts the answer.

It also means you can see what your bot is reading. If it keeps citing a page you meant to delete, that is a documentation bug you would otherwise have found from a confused customer.

The questions nobody wrote a page for

TeklTalk records every question it could not answer, with how close the best match was. That list is the most honest content backlog a docs team can get: it is written by people trying to buy or use your product, in their words rather than yours.

You can have it emailed, or sent to Telegram, as the gaps appear rather than waiting to go looking for them.

Common questions

Can it index a docs subdomain and a marketing site together?

Yes. A project takes as many sources as you like, so a docs subdomain and a marketing site can be indexed into one bot. You can also run them as separate projects with separate widgets — every plan allows unlimited projects, and the allowance is shared across them.

What happens when someone asks about a feature you don't have?

Nothing gets invented. TeklTalk searches your indexed content first, and if the closest match is below the similarity threshold you set, the model is never called at all — the visitor gets the fallback message you wrote. The question is then recorded as unanswered so you can see it.

Does it stay up to date when we ship a docs change?

Re-crawling is something you trigger, not a schedule. You can re-crawl a single page or a whole project from the dashboard at any time, and pages whose content has not changed are skipped rather than re-embedded, so it is cheap to run after a docs release.

Can it hand a conversation to a human?

There is no live human handoff today. There is a lead capture form you can turn on, so a visitor whose question was not answered can leave their details, and unanswered questions can be sent to you by email or Telegram as they happen.
