One question and its reply, together. A visitor who asks eight things in a row uses eight messages, not sixteen — you are never charged separately for the answer. Nothing else your bot does counts against the allowance.

No. Every plan lets you run as many sites as you like. Only three things change between tiers: how much content we index, how many messages you get each month, and whether the widget carries our badge.

New questions get a short "temporarily unavailable" note instead of an answer, until your allowance resets or you upgrade. Your dashboard shows how much you've used as you go, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

On a paid plan, on your billing date each month — so a yearly plan still gets a fresh monthly allowance. On Free, on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused messages don't roll over.

We tell you before indexing anything and let you decide — you'll see how many pages we can take and how many would be skipped, and you can cancel or go ahead with a partial import. Nothing is silently dropped. Because a page's length can't be known until we've fetched it, a crawl that passed that check can still finish slightly over; a small overshoot is absorbed rather than thrown away, and genuine excess is marked over limit instead of being billed.

One credit is 500 words of the text we index — roughly one typical web page, which is where the figure comes from. It is a measure of words, not of files: a crawled URL, a block of pasted text and an uploaded document of the same length all cost the same. So a short FAQ page costs a fraction of a credit and a 3,000-word guide costs six.

No — credits are capacity, not spend. They count the content your account is holding right now, so deleting a source hands its credits straight back and nothing expires at the end of a period. Conversations work the other way round: those are a monthly flow that does reset. Running out of credits never breaks a bot that is already answering; it stops new content being added until you free some up or upgrade. Free holds about 50,000 words in total.

From your dashboard, in one click. You keep the plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you're not charged again. Your projects and indexed content stay put — only the limits change once it lapses.

Paddle retries for a few days and we keep your plan running while it does — you'll see a warning on your dashboard. If every retry fails, the account moves back to Free and you can subscribe again once the card is sorted.

US dollars, wherever you are. Every plan is priced and billed in USD — there is no rupee pricing and no regional price list, so the figure on the card above is the whole charge. Any sales tax or VAT due where you live is already included in it, itemised separately on your Paddle invoice. If your card is issued in another currency your bank converts at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee, which is why your statement can still read a little higher.
