These are the checks we run before indexing a site, opened up for anyone to use. No signup, no email, no limits worth mentioning — they run the same code our crawler does.
Why these four
They are the checks that decide whether indexing a site is going to work, in the order we run them. Can we find a list of your pages? Can we read that list? Is the list correct? And once we follow it, is there enough readable text on the other end to answer a question from?
Each one fails in a way that is easy to miss from the outside. A sitemap that nothing points at, an index sitemap nobody expanded, a handful of entries silently dropped for a missing element, a section of the site that renders only in the browser — none of these announce themselves, and all of them quietly cost you pages.
They run the real thing
These are not simplified demonstrations. Each tool calls the same functions our indexer calls to discover sitemaps, expand them, filter out non-content URLs, fetch a page and extract its readable text. What you see here is what you would get after signing up, which is the only version worth showing.
Nothing is stored. A scan runs when you press the button, the result goes back to your browser, and that is the end of it — no account, no email address, and no record of the sites you checked.
